PSHE and Citizenship at Fairfield
At Fairfield we have a school approach to the teaching and learning of PSHE and citizenship. Children are always encouraged to be polite, kind and thoughful, respecting the feeling of others. During the school year we have many activities taking place which help to develop healthy living, raise self esteem and encourage a sense of community and belongings resulting in well rounded, happy children, who are beginning to develop a sense of self and to understand their place in the world around them. As well as the nurturing of children thoughout the school day we also teach aspects of the curriculum as discreet lessons, enabling us to discuss issues in more detail and explore soloutions in a supportive enviroment.
