In the January of their final year at Fairfield (Year 6) children will sit the 11+ examinations. The majority of children – usually over 95%– will progress to the Grammar and High schools. Others will attend similar local schools. In Years 5 and 6, visits are arranged for Fairfield children to attend the Grammar School and High School to ‘set the scene’ and to prepare them for this transition.

We want children to leave Fairfield happy, successful and fulfilled as well as confident and well rounded so that they can face the many challenges of an ever-changing world.
