The Pre-Prep Department is on the same site as the Preparatory School and, as a result, it operates a similar day and has the benefit of being able to use many of the varied specialist facilities.

At 4+, in Reception, there is a three form entry and children are assessed in the January before entry in the following September. These classrooms are bright, colourful and airy, highlighting the many successes and achievements of the children. Everyone's work is on display. The children have their own class teacher who is supported by a full-time Nursery Nurse. Even children as young as 4 years old use the Music Room, the I.C.T. suite, Gymnasium and the Assembly Hall.

Throughout their learning, positive reinforcement takes place constantly in order to develop self-confidence. Much of the learning takes place through extended play and the children have many opportunities to be creative through Art and role play on a daily basis.
